Arancini Art is a food company based in Epping Victoria, with a focus on making traditional Italian Arancini, Calzoni and Pasta. As our name suggests, we believe there is some ‘art’ in making an Arancino, that looks delicious, is full of flavour, and maintains its texture and consistency, resulting in a glorious golden ball of cooked rice. Many Italian households will be familiar with the smell coming from the kitchen, of mouth watering Arancini cooked with time and love by their mothers or grandmothers. At Arancini Art our aim is to bring the same exciting sensation to everyone’s dinner table or party. The Arancino derives its name from the Italian word for orange, ‘arancio’, resembling the orange in shape and color. In some parts of Sicily, more notably the East, the shape can take on a more cone shape, whereas in the West they are more often rounded. The Arancino is made largely from rice coated with breadcrumbs and filled with a variety of fillings, with the more traditional being meat, tomato sauce, cheese and peas. However there are a number of variations to the fillings that are used. The Arancini can be ideal as a snack, an antipasto, a convenient light lunch or add a salad and some vegetables to make a wonderful dinner meal. Other foods offered in our selection include savoury Crocchette Di Patate, Lasagna and a range of delicious appetisers including our Party Arancini, Polpette Di Melanzane, Mozzarelline Fritte and Olive All’Ascolana. In addition we have a range of Calzoni with a variety of fillings and Pastry Logs with eight mixed vegetables or spinach and ricotta.
