Giovanni Butera

Giovanni is Chief Executive Officer at Nixora Group, a data management and analytics advisory firm based in Australia and operating in the Asia Pacific region. He has an academic background including a Master in Finance at Melbourne University and a PhD in Financial Econometrics at RMIT, coupled with practical experience at organizations such Bank of Rome/Unicredit, Moody's Analytics and Wipro Technologies. Giovanni has written numerous articles on data governance and lineage, GDPR requirements for Financial Institutions, as well as on developing, implementing and validating financial and risk models for the banking industry. Since July 2020 Giovanni become executive publisher of “Segmento Magazine – Unapologetically Italian”, with the objective of re-launching the Magazine (printed and on-line versions), and create a new and sustainable operating model and expand its reach to all Australian Capital Cities, New Zealand and Singapore in 2021, and China and Europe in 2022.
